Working in collaboration with hospital executive leadership, the Hospital Infection Prevention Director will be responsible for oversight and direction of the hospital system’s Infection Prevention Program, managing all infection prevention and control policies and procedures throughout the entire facility. The Regional Infection Prevention Director will serve as a liaison and subject matter expert to all hospital staff, overseeing a strong team of Infection Preventionist Staff. This role will work to implement current regulatory agency-based policies and procedures, ensuring minimization of infection transmission.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, Epidemiology, Public Health
- Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology - CIC Certification Required
- 5+ years of acute care infection control experience
The Hospital System Director Infection Prevention will be seated at the larger, 400+ bed acute care hospital and will also be responsible for oversight of the smaller, 75-bed facility.
