Overview

Intuit’s Embedded Fintech team is looking for a Senior Designer who is excited to create experiences and contribute to Intuit’s platform capabilities across their product offerings. This role requires a dynamic individual who is excited to deliver in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment, with a strong ability to go deep into the details, step back and connect the dots for a more strategic perspective across a variety of deliverables.

What you'll bring

  1. 4+ years of visual design experience, interaction design, product design, or related field
  2. Intimate knowledge of Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, prototyping and other modern design tools
  3. Deep knowledge of user experience methods, ideation, storytelling, design frameworks, concept visualization, problem-framing skills and design principles
  4. Knowledge of technology-driven financial services is a plus
  5. Be able to clearly communicate with leaders and project stakeholders
  6. Knowledge and experience with driving and applying user-centered design processes while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, and user research
  7. Organized, self-directed, efficient and able to manage multiple and complex projects in a timely manner
  8. Strong conceptual thinking & online portfolio available for viewing

How you will lead

  1. Apply strategic thinking to design and deliver innovative end-to-end user experiences that optimize among user needs, business goals, and technological realities across web & mobile platforms
  2. Great storyteller, able to influence an audience by visualizing ideas and concepts for internal teams, partners and customers
  3. Turn visions into concepts, and translate those concepts into designs that illustrate simplicity, despite complexity of the system
  4. Collaborate effectively with other designers, researchers, leadership/project stakeholders, program management, marketing, and other team members
  5. Prioritize work & multi-task well; Wear multiple hats, self-manage creative bandwidth and clearly escalate constraints
  6. Utilize industry design standards and best practices to define and implement design criteria, design guidelines, and design specs
  7. Deliver across a variety of artifacts. Visual communication, concept design, product design, prototypes, and production ready files
  8. Stay up to date with new technologies and industry trends
