Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 4 for Detroit Tigers Training Facility located in Lakeland, FL . This GM will be responsible for overseeing the entire food service operation that feeds the athletes and their staff. Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:
- 3-5 years operational management experience in a food service or other high volume dining environment.
- A strong focus on maintaining positive client relations; a solid manager/leader who is perceptive and has attention to details that make a difference – quality and presentation of food – customer service.
- Client focused– including providing excellent customer service in a welcoming dining environment.
- Proficiency in use of online Food Management Systems for menu/recipe planning, ordering, and inventory.
- Demonstrated proven financial acumen/success: Food costs/labor costs, budgets.
The successful candidate will:
- Develop business plans that establish a rapport, promote partnerships, and exceed the University's needs and expectations.
- Have a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service.
- Prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
- Manage the budget by increasing revenue and controlling costs, reviewing financial statements and tracking operating expenses.
