Responsibilities
This position will be responsible for important work, including:
- Drafting motions, affidavits, legal arguments, testimony, and trial briefs
- Hearing preparation
- Case consultation and strategizing with a client
- Communicating with the opposing party, courts, and others
- Performing case law research to identify and apply relevant judicial decisions, statutes, etc.
- Investigating the facts of a case
- Reviewing and monitoring new and updated laws and regulations
- Editing and approving paralegal-crafted documents
Qualifications

- 10+ years experience in Minnesota family law
- Admitted to Minnesota Bar and in great standing
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Open-minded and willing to learn
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Technologically savvy
- You smile when you answer the phone
- You are an amazing scheduler with a sickening degree of attention to detail
- You are very good with calendars, e-mail, spreadsheets, word processing, and the internet
- Your middle name is “No Drama”
- You are an awesome juggler of tasks and can change gears quickly - You do not think scanning and copying are “beneath you”
Compensation
$145,000+ yearly
