Director of Product Marketing
The Director of Product Marketing will lead Hunter’s product marketing efforts, focusing on our SIEM solutions. This role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that encompasses messaging, content creation, technical marketing, analyst and public relations (AR/PR), customer marketing, and competitive analysis. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the cybersecurity market, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to translate technical features into compelling benefits for our target audience.
A preferred location for this role: Boston Area or US.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Messaging and Positioning: Develop and refine the company’s messaging framework that clearly articulates the value proposition and differentiators of our SIEM products to the market.
- Content Development: Hands on leadership of the creation of high-impact content, including white papers, blog posts, case studies, and product datasheets that resonate with our target audience and drive lead generation.
- Product Launches: Plan and execute product launches, ensuring that all marketing materials, sales enablement tools, and external communications are aligned and executed flawlessly.
- Technical Marketing: Work closely with the product management and engineering teams to understand the technical details of our products and effectively communicate these to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Analyst and Public Relations (AR/PR): Develop and maintain relationships with key industry analysts and media outlets to enhance our market presence and thought leadership position.
- Competitive Analysis: Conduct ongoing competitive analysis to understand market trends, identify opportunities, and inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Sales Enablement: Equip the sales team with the necessary tools, resources, and training to effectively sell our SIEM solutions.
- Performance Measurement: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives and adjust strategies accordingly.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in the cybersecurity or technology industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Deep knowledge of the SIEM market and cybersecurity trends.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with competitive analysis.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders.
