Job Requirements / Description

Executive Director Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure the quality and appropriateness of resident/patient care meets or exceeds company and regulatory standards.
  2. Prepare annual budget for facility. Monitor monthly performance of facility in relation to budget and intervene as needed.
  3. Recruit, hire, provide orientation/training, and retain a sufficient number of qualified staff to carry out facility programs and services. Ensure employee performance meets or exceeds expectations and periodic performance appraisals are conducted on a timely basis.
  4. Ensure facility is a safe, clean, comfortable, and appealing environment for residents, patients, visitors, and staff in accordance with company guidelines.
  5. Complete required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
  6. Manage all aspects of state or federal government survey processes.

Executive Director Requirements:

  1. Experience working as an Executive Director.
  2. Excellent work history in the Assisted Living industry (minimum 3 years).
  3. Possess an active license in states where necessary.
