Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a top 20 Am Law 100 firm, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its established national insurance coverage practice within its Chicago office.


This position provides exposure to a variety of professional liability matters—directors and officers, employment practices, mortgage bankers and securities broker/dealer— pending in courts across the country. On a day-to-day basis, the associate will analyze and interpret complex contracts and insurance policies, evaluate and research novel legal issues, and in some instances, prosecute and defend litigation in federal and state courts on a nationwide scale. Preference will be given to applicants with prior coverage and or litigation experience.


Candidates must have an excellent academic background, proven skills in writing, analysis, research, and be a self-starter who is able to handle a case from inception with minimal supervision. Additionally, a commitment to superior client service is essential. Trial experience is preferred, but not required.


Candidates must be licensed in Illinois.
