ARRT - Radiologic Technician

Key Responsibilities of a Radiologic Technologist:

1. Conduct a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, ensuring adherence to strict safety and quality standards.
2. Provide a comforting and informative environment for patients, meticulously explaining procedures and addressing any concerns to enhance patient experience.
3. Operate and maintain radiology equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal functionality and reliability of all imaging technologies.
4. Collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to assist in interpreting imaging results, facilitating accurate and timely diagnoses.

Qualifications for a Radiology Technologist:

1. Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
2. Valid Massachusetts state license as a Radiologic Technologist.
3. Proven experience in a radiology department, with a strong understanding of radiologic protocols and patient care procedures.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
