Vice President of Support Services

Overview:

This position will direct and develop leadership in key operational service areas of the business and oversee resident services commensurate with delivery of world class senior housing experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Supports, consults, and mentors VPs, Division Directors in areas of Culinary, Facilities Management, Resident Care/Generations, Resident Engagement, Human Resources, and other operational support services.
2. Develops and executes plans to enhance profitability, productivity, and efficiency throughout the operations.
3. Manages the organization’s support services by directing and coordinating activities consistent with established goals, objectives, and policies.
4. Continually investigates and introduces process improvement measures and presents suggestions to COO for consideration.
5. Participates in vendor evaluations and negotiations to ensure product relevance and cost-efficiency.
6. Reviews monthly financial statements. Summarizes results for COO and ownership groups as necessary to identify strategies and improvements.
7. Develops and manages use of metrics and analytics with frequent interaction with our Business Intelligence Group. Implements revenue enhancements and cost control tools.
8. Maintains strong knowledge of competition service offerings.
9. Participates in the annual operations budget process, working with Accounting, Finance, Division leaders and partners.
10. Coordinates vendors and seeks synergies to eliminate redundancies.
11. Works across other operating company department ambassadors for support services.

Educational Requirements and Experience:

1. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
2. A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in a Senior Living or related leadership role with budgetary, financial and hospitality responsibilities.
