Senior Manager/Director of Accounting

One of Vaco's PE backed distribution clients is looking to onboard a Director of Accounting as part of an overall effort to “upgrade” their finance and accounting teams as the company continues to grow.

Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Internal Controls: Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• General Ledger Management: Oversee the general ledger system, including chart of accounts maintenance, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Audit Coordination: Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits and ensure compliance with auditing standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a similar field
• CPA required
• Public accounting experience highly preferred
• Large PE backed environments preferred
