**Job Title:** CT Technologist

**Job Duration:** 14 weeks
**Shift:** Night - 7.5x5 - 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM - 37.5 hours per week
**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
**License:** Valid license as a radiologic technologist, nuclear medicine technologist, or in radiation therapy issued by the NYSDOH
**Certifications:** Post-primary certification in computed tomography issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred
**Must-Have:** Familiarity with relevant equipment, English proficiency (speak, read, write)
**Job Description:**
- Perform CT scans and ensure high-quality diagnostic images are produced
- Operate and maintain CT equipment safely and competently
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to evaluate diagnostic results
- Follow established protocols and guidelines for patient safety and image accuracy
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring comfort and explaining procedures clearly
- Stay updated with advancements in radiology and CT technology
- Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills in emergency situations
- Adhere to departmental policies and procedures regarding infection control and safety standards
