It is part of our recognized Bone & Joint Center, where our highly trained staff includes a team of orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine physicians, physiatrists, rheumatologists, rehab therapists and athletic trainers. Rheumatologists at Straub Clinic & Hospital provide state-of-the-art diagnosis and treatment for diseases that affect the body's connective tissue.As a Medical Assistant, you will join the dedicated team of physicians and medical staff that provide our recognized compassionate health services to patients and their families. In this role, you will perform a wide variety of patient care activities in our Rheumatology department. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card. Must be able to complete departmental competency assessment by conclusion of orientation period.Preferred Experience: Six (6) months medical assistant experience. Knowledge of Classification Procedural Terminology (CPT) and/or International Classification of Disease (ICD-10) Coding.
