Job Overview

A prominent pet food manufacturer seeks a dynamic Key Account Manager to join their team. In this role, you'll foster relationships with retailers and distributors, driving continuous sales growth.

Job Responsibilities

1. Act as the main point of contact for customers and distributors.
2. Analyze sales data to predict future trends and profitability.
3. Participate in performance reviews and market presentations.
4. Regularly engage with existing accounts to meet their needs and foster long-term partnerships.
5. Expand the customer and distributor base to boost sales volume.
6. Develop and execute strategies to effectively promote products and meet customer demands.
7. Provide input for sales forecasts and production planning.
8. Address customer complaints regarding products and sales.
9. Collaborate with executive leadership to determine pricing, promotions, and credit terms.
10. Keep a close watch on market trends and competitor activities.
11. Manage expenses within budgetary constraints.
12. Maintain adherence to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards while upholding a professional image.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
2. 1-2 years of experience in the pet food industry preferred.
3. Proficient in analyzing trends and data.
4. Demonstrates exceptional customer service and negotiation skills.
5. Possesses strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
6. Effective time management skills with adaptability to a dynamic environment.
7. Willingness to travel frequently or spend significant time in transit.
8. Holds a valid, unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record (no more than three violations in the last two years and no more than one at-fault accident in the past three years).
9. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent software.
10. Able to commute to the office.

Benefits

Salary: USD 70,000 – 80,000
