Course Overview

  1. BIOS-251: Anatomy and Physiology I with Lab
    This course is the first of a four-course sequence in which human anatomy and physiology are studied using a body systems approach. Topics include basic anatomical and directional terminology, body cavities, cell biology, histology, the integumentary system, skeletal system, and homeostasis.
  2. BIOS-252: Anatomy and Physiology II with Lab
    This course continues the body systems approach, covering the muscular and nervous systems, special senses, and endocrine system, emphasizing interrelationships between structure and function.
  3. BIOS-255: Anatomy and Physiology III with Lab
    This course covers the cardiovascular, lymphatic, immune, and respiratory systems, with a focus on physiological concepts and systems-level interactions.
  4. BIOS-256: Anatomy and Physiology IV with Lab
    The final course in the series covers the digestive system, metabolism, urinary system, reproductive systems, and human development, emphasizing homeostasis.

Courses may meet once or twice a week for eight weeks, blending face-to-face interaction with technology for an enhanced learning environment. Commitment is on a course-by-course basis.

Qualifications:

  • Earned a master's or doctorate degree in Anatomy & Physiology or related fields with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in Anatomy & Physiology.
  • Provide official and unofficial transcripts from a regionally accredited institution.
  • Provide verification of foreign credentials if applicable.
  • Have a passion for teaching and helping others learn.
  • Possess exceptional subject matter expertise and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate responsibility and a desire to enrich the community.
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic and a collaborative spirit.

Additional Information:

Chamberlain Visiting Professor Position - Campus:
The expected compensation rate for this position is between $1,120 and $7,245 per assignment, depending on the candidate’s education and experience. Actual pay may be adjusted based on job-related factors.
