Overview
Texas Slots & Gaming is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee the operations of our main warehouse facility in Dallas, Texas. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for day-to-day warehouse functions, including inventory control, team management, and ensuring timely distribution of slot machines and gaming equipment. This role will support the company's operations across the North American and LATAM markets with a focus on efficiency and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Warehouse Operations : Supervise the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of slot machines and other gaming equipment.
- Inventory Control : Maintain accurate inventory records, performing regular audits and cycle counts to minimize discrepancies.
- Logistics & Shipping : Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring deliveries are completed on schedule. Work with logistics partners to improve transportation efficiency.
- Team Supervision : Lead the warehouse team, focusing on staff training and development to ensure a safe and productive working environment.
- Process Improvement : Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing best practices to increase warehouse efficiency and reduce costs.
- Safety & Compliance : Ensure compliance with health, safety, and industry regulations, and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
- Facility Management : Monitor warehouse equipment and facility maintenance to ensure operations run smoothly and efficiently.
- Collaboration : Work closely with other departments, including customer service, sales, and leasing, to ensure warehouse operations align with broader business goals.
Qualifications
- Experience : Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics, preferably in a single-site operation.
- Team Leadership : Demonstrated ability to lead and manage warehouse staff, ensuring high levels of performance and productivity.
- Inventory Control : Experience with inventory management systems and control processes.
- Logistics Knowledge : Strong understanding of logistics and distribution processes, including shipping and receiving.
- Safety & Compliance : Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and a track record of implementing safety measures.
- Process-Oriented : Ability to identify process improvements and implement them to enhance efficiency.
- Communication Skills : Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field is preferred but not required.
