Talent Acquisition Associate is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and interviewing prospective mission-aligned candidates to find the perfect match for our long-term goals. This person plays an important role in our organization's staff recruitment and retention success.

Responsibilities and Duties
Talent Acquisition Associate is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and interviewing prospective mission-aligned candidates to find the perfect match for our long-term goals. This person plays an important role in our organization's staff recruitment and retention success.
Responsibilities of the Talent Acquisition Associate include, but are not limited to:
Recruitment:
- Use creative sourcing methods to recruit and hire talent
- Create career requisitions and obtain necessary approvals
- Plan and coordinate recruitment events
- Develop and post both internal and external job advertisements
- Conduct candidate sourcing activities
- Manage resume collection, conduct position assessments, screen candidates, and track progress
- Cultivate and maintain professional relationships with college, university, and community college placement offices to source qualified applicants
- Stay engaged with current job boards, social networks, and platforms to identify and attract talent and create and distribute job descriptions and announcements
- Develop and nurture high-touch relationships with a database of qualified active and passive talent to tap into for future openings
- Establish and maintain recruitment metrics and dashboards
- Attend career fairs
- Collaborate with hiring managers to review job descriptions, define critical job tasks, and establish qualifying application questions
- Oversee including candidate screening and interview coordination
- Conduct initial phone screenings, schedule interviews, and notify all candidates of hiring decisions
- Assist with planning and conducting new employee orientation and onboarding
- Maintain application, resumes, and other employee file documentation in accordance with company policy
- Assist with organization staff retention initiatives
- Assist with the organization renewal process
- Develop and coordinate staff appreciation and recognition programs and initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

- Bachelor's Degree, required
- Two (2) years of full life cycle recruitment experience, preferably in the education industry
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and Adobe Pro
- Excellent interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of recruitment strategies, and a commitment to delivering a positive candidate experience
- Ability to partner and collaborate with hiring managers to ensure an effective recruiting process and positive candidate experience using exceptional interviewing techniques
- Strong written and oral communication, collaboration, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, social media and marketing skills
- Background check passed, required
