Your Role on Our Team:

Sr Sourcing Analyst - Centralized Purchasing Team
Under the direction of and reporting to a Sourcing Manager of a Milwaukee Tool, primary duties include supporting Strategic sourcing, sourcing of MRO components, processing of requisitions, balance the required quality, cost, lead time, and terms to support various plant operations, cost reduction initiatives, and supply base improvement projects.

You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

  • Prepare and execute RFP's and analyze quotations and bids. Conduct, analyze, and share cost break down analysis to aide negotiations of per unit cost; drive best overall cost and commercial terms.

  • Process requisitions to ensure compliance and mitigate financial risk.

  • Provide ongoing vendor management support in the form of Forecasts, Purchase Orders, Invoice and Quality problem resolution, and related issues.

  • Initiate necessary correspondence to expedite purchased goods, revise purchase orders, effect cancellations, improve terms, resolve disposition of rejected goods and rework costs, adjust invoice discrepancies, and rectify other related problems as assigned.

  • Support the building of long-term commercial relationships with strategic suppliers while delivering to the business metrics.

  • Build internal stakeholder relationships to understand business procurement needs. Identify and implement supply chain improvement opportunities to support both short term and long-term needs.

  • Complete data analyses and assist with regular generation of reports to drive spend visibility and identify opportunities for supply base consolidation.

  • Complete the tactical conversion of purchase requisitions for MRO items to create Purchase Orders, including supplier selection and price assignment.

  • Create and analyze data reporting on the behalf of sourcing leaders, driving strategic decision making.

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of procurement KPIs and dashboards for senior leadership review.

  • Maintain and update sourcing databases, ensuring accuracy around pricing, item information and other sourcing information.

  • Identify cost savings opportunities through preferred vendor consolidation, item order quantity optimization, and volume trends.

The TOOLS you'll bring with you:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field such as Supply Chain/Logistics, Business, Engineering, Finance, or related technical field.

  • Specific course-work in purchasing, materials management, engineering, or quality assurance desirable.

  • CPM/CPSM certification a plus.

  • ERP system knowledge including Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics AX, SAP, or other cloud based ERP

  • Three or more years in sourcing, materials planning, supplier quality or related supply chain experience.

  • Internship/Co-Op experiences in purchasing, manufacturing, or related experience a plus.
