Sr Infrastructure Engineer - PaaS Database Automation

Work with DevOps and Automation Engineering Teams to support Infrastructure automation projects, and maintain and update existing automation solutions to continually improve the provisioning times for IT environments. Design and build pilot solutions utilizing new technologies, and implement new product features and enhancements. Ensure integration and operational viability for Infrastructure Products in the area of responsibility.

Required Job Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years in Information Technology or relevant experience OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses and 6 years Information Technology experience OR 8 years Information Technology experience.
2. Design and deploy Azure SQL databases.
3. Work with Azure SQL Managed Instances.
4. Experience with database administration.
5. Experience in developing and maintaining infrastructure as code.
6. Experience with Ansible or Terraform is a plus.
7. Infrastructure Automation.
8. Ability to simplify & standardize complex concepts/processes.
9. Understanding of business priorities (e.g., vision), trends (e.g., industry knowledge) and markets (e.g., existing/planned).
10. Oral & written communications.
11. Problem solving/analytical skills, tools and techniques.
12. Ability to prioritize and make trade-off decisions.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

1. Master’s Degree (Computer Science, MIS, or related degrees).
2. Development experience in any language like C#, Java, Python.
3. Experience with Azure networking and Azure security.
