General Function
In alignment with CIRI's mission and values, is an integral part of the treasury team that is responsible for treasury management and ensuring internal and external reporting of current and forecast cash status and liquidity. Support as assigned for CIRI's overall accounting and reporting requirements.
Major Activities (Typical Duties/Responsibilities)

  1. Administration of the company's liquidity reporting and forecasting including:
    1. Prepare and report multi-year cash forecasting and net income projections for corporate strategic planning, including sensitivity analysis of forecasted liquidity based on inputs from long-range plans developed by operations teams.
    2. Within CIRI's accounting systems, integrate monthly activity and forecasted assumptions of the various divisions and subsidiaries for development of forecasted net income, cash flow and balance sheets.
    3. Calculate and report certain financial targets using budgeted data, long-range plans, and actual results. Analyze and report results.
    4. Support debt covenant reporting requirements and monitoring.
    5. Preparation of other reporting as needed by management.
  2. Responsible for weekly, monthly and annual internal reporting of cash and securities balances for CIRI and subsidiaries. Review monthly operating results related to Treasury and Marketable Securities and provide routine variance analysis against current budget.
  3. Responsible for daily, monthly and annual accounting for designated areas, including processing, coding and timely reporting, including 1099 requirements when applicable.
  4. Supports Centralized Treasury by serving as the primary backup as needed and performing semi-annual internal review of online banking access and services.
  5. Prepare schedules and work papers for annual financial audits of CIRI and subsidiaries and the CIRI Settlement Trust (CST).
  6. Assists in the preparation of all internal and external reports including monthly financial statements, quarterly consolidations, and year-end financial statements. Assist with various other reporting and analysis across all of CIRI's and CST's diverse business segments.
  7. Assists with annual budget compilation and other forecasting projects
  8. Performs other duties as appropriate and as assigned.

Physical Abilities
  • Must possess sufficient fine motor skills for use of computers, calculators with an ability to withstand repetitive keyboarding for extended periods of time.
  • Visual ability adequate to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others.
  • Must be able to kneel, bend and twist at the waist on an occasional basis.
  • Must be able to reach below shoulder height with regular frequency (desk position) and at or above shoulder height on occasion.
  • Must be able to push, pull, carry and lift objects weighing up to 20 pounds on a regular basis, and greater weights on an occasional basis.
Minimum Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or finance.
  • Three or more years experience within large, diversified corporation, bank or other financial institution; or two or more years of public accounting experience.
  • Banking experience or CTP preferred.
  • Ability to pass a background screening.
