THE ROLE:
We are seeking a talented and innovative 3D Fashion Designer to join our design team. In this role, you will create and develop virtual garment prototypes using advanced 3D design software. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, merchandising, and technical design, to bring creative visions to life while streamlining the design process through digital technologies. This position requires a strong understanding of garment construction, textiles, and the ability to translate traditional design techniques into 3D environments.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
- Develop 3D garment prototypes: ensuring fit, fabric, and design elements are accurately represented in a virtual environment.
- Master digital tools: Use Browzwear to model and visualize garments in real-time, tweaking and perfecting designs to ensure they meet both aesthetic and functional requirements.
- Master seamless design: Apply your expertise to craft seamless garments, showcasing your in-depth knowledge of both design and garment construction within the 3D environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with designers, technical design, and product development to create 3D renderings of concepts that align with both aesthetics and functional needs.
- Stay ahead of trends: Keep current with advancements in 3D fashion technology, including fabric simulation, seamless garment construction, and workflow automation.
- Bridge the digital to physical: Work with technical design teams to ensure a smooth transition from virtual prototypes to physical samples and final production.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience: Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field, with 3+ years of experience in fashion design. A strong portfolio showcasing 3D design work is essential.
- Browzwear expertise: Proficiency in Browzwear is a must, with a solid understanding of how to design and develop seamless apparel in 3D.
- Attention to detail: You excel in making sure every element of the design, from fit to fabric, is perfectly represented in the digital environment.
- Collaboration skills: You work well with cross-functional teams and can take feedback to improve designs in real-time.
- Fast-paced environment: You can juggle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines with ease.
- Travel: Ability to travel, required.
- Bonus skills: Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and experience in activewear and intimates design.
