Summary: The HR Operations Manager will serve as the Global compensation and HR Systems subject matter expert. Will develop and implement compensation programs to help Power Integrations attract, retain, and motivate talent. She/He will also be responsible for the midyear and annual Focal process and maintenance of SumTotal and ensure Oracle compensation data is accurate and up to date. She/He will work closely with Staffing and hiring managers to ensure that compensation and performance management programs remain competitive and confirm the current compensation and rewards strategy of PI and all applicable laws. She/He will Manage global mobility programs and inter-company transfers. She/He will manage all company Radford and/or Mercer survey’s and job codes, compensation data analytics and act as a senior advisor to management and executives on all compensation decisions. She/He will manage all compensation projects including setting job families and advising on salary ranges. She/He will advise on the company sales compensation structures and at-risk plans. She/He will manage all company bonus programs and equity plans. She/He will assist immigration from a compensation perspective and prevailing wage. The HR Operations Manager will have 1 direct report and will report to the Sr. Manager, Human Resources.
Compensation Responsibilities
- Ensure alignment of incentive/reward elements with culture, strategy and operational goals
- Work with the Recruiting team to ensure new hire offer packages align with market and internal peers by applying Power Integrations compensation policies in fair and equitable ways
- Research and develop recommendations for annual budget adjustments to maintain internal and external equity in compensation planning
- Collaborate with business partners, including HR and Finance management to design compensation plans and compensation budget
- Create and maintain uniform global compensation standards in regards to job creation and leveling. Collaborating with the HR Team to ensure consistent global approach to program and policies, while identifying on-going local needs
- Drive midyear and annual merit and Focal Process, and support sales incentive plans
- Responsible for evaluating job descriptions, market pricing, global salary survey participation
- Manage all compensation projects including setting job families and conducting salary survey data and participate in a valid and timely manner. Prepare statistical analysis and data modeling
- Manage all company bonus programs and equity plans.
- Conduct data analysis in partnership with the HR Managers and HR functional lead teams related to many of our functional processes and projects (e.g. headcount, performance management, global compensation and HRIS systems)
- Assist the global HRBP team with planning and rollout of end-to-end HR Programs such as performance management, compensation and HR data systems.
- Maintain system administration of Oracle, SumTotal Systems data integrity and Total Rewards
- Work with IT and HR Generalist to ensure that all HR systems meet compensation needs and are updated to reflect any changes
- Partnering with our IT group to continuously improve our systems enhancements
- Create Ad hoc and scheduled reports from Oracle (Business Objects) and SumTotal. Maintain organization charts
- Manage global mobility programs and inter-company transfers.
- Assist immigration and process non-immigrant visas (H1b and L1a/b) and interface with our immigration firm for all processes/applications from a compensation perspective and prevailing wage.
- Collaborate with the internal HR and Finance teams in North America and abroad
- Other duties as assigned
- A Bachelor’s degree. CCP Certification a plus.
- A minimum of 4-7 years related experience. Public company experience in Semi-Conductor or High Tech/BioTech a plus.
- Solid understanding of employee compensation and total rewards programs
- Ability to create and conduct complex analytics using Excel and other tools as needed
- Ability to present to executive staff compensation data with seamless usage of Excel
- Some knowledge of HRIS such as Oracle, SumTotal, ECM, etc.
- Knowledge of Aon- Radford and Mercer
- Knowledge of various compensation structures
- Knowledge of Sales compensation and equity plans
- Experience with Immigration and Global mobility
- Proven ability to independently initiate and execute projects with keen attention to detail and deadlines
- Possess a data driven mindset
- Proven customer service, organizational and team collaboration skills. This is a high visibility and strategically important role up to the CFO and C-suite
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, efficiently prioritize projects and embrace new challenges
- Extensive knowledge and experience with state and federal labor laws and regulations as it relates to compensation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present to multiple levels of the organization
- The desire to learn new technologies processes and retain such knowledge
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- MS Office experience is required
