Job Responsibilities:

• Work with development teams to provide estimates on tasks with complete timeline of project delivery.
• Engage with senior management to develop technology strategy and drive implementation of the architecture roadmap.
• Participate in broader areas of application development, infrastructure, security, deployment, unit, and integration testing.
• Understand desired business outcomes by the customer and translate these to requirements for the solution, recommending potential options.
• Own the overall solution and ensure all components fit well, function, and perform as expected, including availability, performance, and security.
• Effectively articulate the solution to both internal stakeholders and customers.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Expert in cloud architecture with experience in several cloud technologies: Azure, IBM SmartCloud, AWS, as well as mainframe.
• Must be able to communicate with executive-level people and quickly assess what technology approach works and what does not.
• Able to be involved in presales by providing technical expertise and crunching financial numbers for RFPs.
• Experience with Azure and IBM SmartCloud.
• Experience with AWS and Mainframe (CICS, IMS, DB2).
• Experience in on-premises technologies.
