Job Summary:


Responsible for the development, design, analysis, testing, troubleshooting, and implementation of electrical low/medium voltage power equipment, engine-driven rotating machinery, and AC/DC drive and control systems in production assembly and field installation environments.


Direct Hire

Comp: $120K-$130K (Salary), flexible based on qualifications

401K: 6% company paid + 3% company match

Location: West Houston – Fulltime Onsite

Schedule: M-F 8:00-5:00 flex schedule

PTO: 2 weeks sick leave, 2-3 weeks vacation, 10 holidays.


Qualifications:

· BS Engineering, preferably electrical or similar discipline.

· SolidWorks highly preferred.

· EE design experience with heavy industrial equipment, preferably within manufacturing.

· Expertise in electrical design, circuit analysis, and applying electrical equations (e.g., voltage drop calculations).

· Strong understanding of electrical schematics and ability to execute projects with minimal prior experience or guidance.

· Up to 10% travel to customer or supplier sites.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Proficient in reading, interpreting, creating, and revising electrical drawings, technical specifications, bill of materials, and computer-generated reports.

· Develop electrical designs using drafting tools or Computer-Assisted Design (CAD) and other software.

· Conduct research to analyze the feasibility, design, operation, and performance of equipment, components, and systems.

· Research, design, install, test, and maintain electrical products, equipment, and systems, applying knowledge of engineering principles.

· Lead design failure mode and effect analyses (DFMEA’s), GAP analysis, and root cause analysis.

· Maintain high familiarity with NEC, IEEE, NFPA, and other relevant codes and regulations.
