Responsibilities

Global Banking Technology & Operations (GBTO) delivers day-to-day services to Global Banking & Investor Solutions (GBIS) Business Units and their clients. With IT & Operations teams working side by side under the same leadership, the goal of GBTO is to meet the evolving needs of its clients and market requirements, as well as anticipate technological advances to accelerate and support the transformation of GBIS activities. GBTO is at the very heart of this technological and operational challenge.

The GMI Specialist will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Provide support, troubleshooting and expertise on GMI issues globally for all departments.
  • Work with the GMI application support group and the rest of information technology to define and implement best practices and services.
  • Work with FIS for prioritization and follow-up on issues, validate and test the business requirements for new programs and fixes.
  • Design management, execution, and signoff of UAT for GMI implementation including the GMI annual upgrade.
  • Liaise with various project teams as required to test and implement any mandatory, regulatory or SG initiative projects.
  • Liaise with Business lines and IT to participate in drafting the technical design and business requirements and ensure all business needs are being met as planned.
  • Lead the New Firms Creation across all zones.
  • Lead the cleanup of Firms within GMI Post merger across all zones.
  • Lead global alignment of GMI capabilities for static data across zones and firms, ensuring harmonization and consistency, where relevant.

Profile Required

  • Minimum of 8 years in-depth experience with GMI and FIS.
  • Strong knowledge of Operational processes - Clearing, Treasury, Finance as they relate to bookkeeping.
  • Knowledge of Listed Derivatives.
  • Advanced MS Office Skills.
  • Ability to work with a variety of departments across the organization.
  • Solutions Oriented, Team Player and Independent Working.
