Compensation: $24 - $30/hourly, Non-exempt; based on experience
Office Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Your Role.
The Payroll Senior Specialist will manage and process payroll operations for home office as well as for franchise owners, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws. This role will require a strong knowledge of ADP payroll systems, tax filings, and timekeeping software. The Payroll Senior Specialist will also provide training, reporting, and auditing services to franchise owners, while maintaining consistent communication and offering expert guidance on payroll matters.
What You'll Do in This Role.
  • Process payroll for home office and franchise owners, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Assist with tax filing processes within payroll platform, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Pull hourly data from proprietary timekeeping software and import it into Payroll Software.
  • Enter payroll adjustments such as deductions, commissions, bonuses, and other payroll items.
  • Set up and manage garnishment deductions within the payroll system.
  • Generate reports for franchise owners and management, including payroll and accounting cash reports.
  • Provide payroll training for new franchise owners and ongoing support for established owners.
  • Serve as a resource for payroll, tax, legislative updates, onboarding, and other payroll-related matters.
  • Track and provide payroll measurements and trends to management for analysis and decision-making.
  • Respond promptly to emails and phone inquiries from franchise owners and other stakeholders.
  • Regularly communicate with franchise owners to maintain an open and productive dialogue.
  • Conduct payroll audits for franchise owners upon request.
  • Update and maintain internal and external payroll process training guides.
  • Participate in special projects and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications/Knowledge:
  • Associate's degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years' experience with payroll processing, timekeeping systems and report generation.
  • Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal payroll regulations, as well as knowledge of other state tax laws.
  • Payroll Tax/Garnishment knowledge.
  • Experience with ADP software required.
  • Must be able to provide training and support to franchise owners and teams.

The Office Environment:
As part of the company, you can expect to work in a standard office setting where there is a positive team atmosphere. Our office is a collaborative space where cross-department projects are frequent. Occasional overtime may be required as business needs dictate. You will have exposure to moderate noise levels and on occasion outside weather conditions (walking between buildings, networking events).
