$160,000 - $190,000 per annum

Silver Swan is partnering with a prestigious client based in Brooklyn Heights to find an experienced and dynamic House Manager/Estate Manager. The role involves overseeing operations across multiple properties, including two in Atlantic Highlands and a potential new residence in Italy. The successful candidate will manage a small household team, lead the assistant property manager, and ensure all properties run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee and manage daily operations across all client properties.
  • Lead, mentor, and provide guidance to the assistant property manager, helping to foster growth and development.
  • Perform regular walkthroughs of each property to ensure they are maintained in excellent condition, addressing any issues proactively.
  • Coordinate with household staff, including a nanny, housekeeper, and chef, to ensure seamless daily operations.
  • Assist in event planning, vendor coordination, and maintenance schedules to ensure efficient property management.
  • Handle vendor relationships and manage regular maintenance and service requirements.
  • Provide hands-on management, stepping in whenever necessary to resolve issues or support staff.
  • Travel to other properties when required, including potential trips to Italy for property management.


Requirements:


  • Proven experience in house or estate management, preferably for high-profile clients.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor staff, particularly the assistant property manager.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel as needed to the client’s various properties.
  • A hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to manage and resolve issues efficiently.
