Job Summary:

Based in the US, this role will lead B2B's performance marketing strategy and work directly within the B2B division. Reporting directly to the CCO for B2B this role will shape and define our overall marketing strategy, which includes paid marketing platform specialisms, category delivery strategies, team org design and resourcing needs to deliver against our business plan. This role will also support our overall B2B growth strategy as we move towards having a greater focus on the American B2B market.

Whilst this role will not have any immediate direct reports, it will be accountable for overall B2B marketing performance and will have dotted line direct reports of our Heads of Marketing and Heads of Operations roles based out of the UK and USA.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Execution:


  • Develop and implement a holistic marketing strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.

  • Develop a vision and strategy for the future of the marketing organisation to deliver our business objectives

  • Provide strategic direction and support surrounding our ongoing efforts to drive continuous funnel improvements across our assets, aiming to maximise customers per visitor across our network.

  • Work with our marketing teams to develop best practice and deep specialism across our marketing channels

  • Develop a strong understanding of our market and our competitors, educate our team and drive change to ensure we are best in class across our verticals in our marketing approach.

  • Collaborate with central and deployed marketing teams to ensure performance standards are maintained and MVF-wide Superpowers and best practice approaches are maintained within the B2B Division,

  • Works closely with the central brands team to provide strategic direction around our B2B organic and paid brand strategies.


Team Leadership and Development:


  • Inspire a high-performing marketing and strategy team, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, collaboration and a drive for continuous improvement.

  • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to team members.

  • Help set clear performance goals and KPIs for marketing teams, regularly evaluating team performance and providing constructive feedback.


Digital Marketing:


  • Oversee the development and execution of specific digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, content marketing, email marketing, social media, and marketing automation.

  • Leverage data analytics and marketing technology to ensure our campaigns are optimised and measuring ROI effectively


Budget Management:


  • Working closely with Marketing and Ops heads to develop and manage the marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.

  • Monitor and report on marketing performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.


Stakeholder Collaboration:


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer success, to ensure alignment and achieve business objectives.

  • Present marketing strategies and performance updates to the executive team and board of directors.


Ideal Candidate


  • 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with a focus on lead generation and digital marketing.

  • The ideal candidate will need to have a recent track record of success in a similar industry where performance type marketing and B2B customer generation is at the forefront.

  • Managed millions of dollars of performance marketing spend across paid platforms but also understands the broader marketing landscape.

  • Ideally based in Austin or willing to travel very frequently

  • Someone who's done it - they need to be a leader and know how to structure, support and deliver results in the North American Market.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive growth and revenue.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and data analytics tools.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
