The Business Development Director will be responsible for sourcing new business in the private equity industry. You will work closely with our CEO to support the building and nurturing of key relationships in the private equity & family office space. We several supporters in the private equity industry who are anxious to partner and assist in our growth. You will have the opportunity to capitalize on these dynamics while building a fresh pipeline of new business. You will be rewarded for success in both.


What are we looking for in a prospect?

· A minimum of 5 years of business development experience

· Experience in cold calling, networking at industry events, and client entertainment

o We have several warm introductions waiting to be cultivated, but also need to build a more national pipeline of prospects in the family office and private equity industry

· Working knowledge of the following:

o Private Equity

o Mergers & Acquisitions

o Insurance

· Experience with organizing, building, and delivering sales presentations

· Self-confidence

o A track record of successful prospecting and landing clients

· Creativity

o Brings fresh ideas and enjoys collaborating with others on implementing them

· A natural affinity for solving problems and thinking on your feet

o You have a track record of “getting it done”
