Your primary responsibilities as the Financial Analyst are to support the supply chain finance team in the development and implementation of the annual budget, the monthly forecasts, the strategic plan, and the analysis & reporting of monthly operating results. You will work closely with department managers to monitor the budget and analyze monthly results. In addition, you will provide analytical support to business partners to help drive the company's operating performance.

Responsibilities:
- Support monthly closing, forecast, reporting, and analysis, the annual operating plan, and the strategic plan processes. Provide variance analysis and determine cause of change.
- Provide meaningful, accurate, insightful, and timely management reporting in an understandable format. Includes total cost and CPU analysis of all spending/variances for distribution business units and supporting teams. Partner directly with DC management & engineering teams.
- Assist in driving enhancements in financial reporting and analysis, policies/procedures, and documentation, as well as systems transitions/requirements. Provide ad hoc analytical support and perform special projects as needed.
- The Financial Analyst will be a subject matter expert in financial matters for their business partners and will guide them in making sound financial decisions. They will regularly lead projects commensurate with their expertise and experience.

- BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- 2-5 years experience working as Cost Accountant, Finance Analyst or as a Business Analyst in a related field.
- Expertise with Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet/modeling software; PowerBI platform
- Experience working with SAP or other financial/statistical software, as well as financial databases
- Strong problem-solving skills and disciplined approach to work with attention to detail. Ability to learn quickly when facing new tasks/objectives and can change quickly in a dynamic environment. Proven ability to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong strategic thinking skills
- Ability to control confidential and/or sensitive financial information
- Able to indirectly lead managers and engineers on financial results through good verbal and written communication. Able to be analytical while being able to understand and convey overall strategy.
