The Good Eating Company is seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Catering Manager to support our business in Milpitas, California.

The Good Eating Company is seeking Catering Manager to manage our catering team. The ideal candidates are an organized and effective leader with a background in event planning and management. The catering manager must have excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering memorable client experiences. Prior hands-on corporate service and high-volume catering experience is essential for this role!

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Oversee the planning and execution of all events, ensuring they meet client expectations.
  • Build and mentor a solid catering team who share the same level of commitment and passion for catering, quality presentation, customer service, and professionalism.
  • Coordinate with clients to understand their event requirements.
  • Work with the Sodexo culinary team to ensure delivery of the menu.
  • Prepare and manage budgets for each event.
  • Monitor expenses and find cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality of service.
  • Hire, train, and supervise event staff.
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics, including revenue, expenses, and customer feedback, to make data-driven decisions and improvements.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED.

Basic Management Experience - 1 year.
