West Monroe is looking for a marketing manager to lead all market-facing initiatives for our healthcare and life sciences industry teams. This role will develop and execute a go-to-market strategy aligned with practice goals. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day activities associated with creating high-end thought leadership, including primary research, articles, and videos, developing differentiated messaging as well as leading event strategy and management for tradeshows and conferences. We are looking for someone that brings passion and new ideas to the table, understands the value of ROI and how to measure the impact of marketing, and is a strategic business partner willing to work across all levels to achieve goals. This position will work closely with members of the marketing, business development, healthcare and life sciences, and leadership teams.

Responsibilities

  1. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to help inform practice strategy
  2. Design and execute our go-to-market strategy across all target audiences (including, but not limited to health plan, dental plan, provider and life sciences)
  3. Research, evaluate, and build business cases around new marketing opportunities
  4. Manage marketing execution for the firm’s healthcare and life sciences practice, including thought leadership, events and tradeshows, business development support and marketing campaigns
  5. Manage content creation across all categories – primary research, articles, videos, etc.
  6. Interest and availability to attend healthcare-related events
  7. Assist with internal and external marketing communications
  8. Partner with leadership to execute pre- and post-event outreach for events and develop targeted campaigns
  9. Measure, analyze and report on ROI across marketing campaigns and initiatives
  10. Manage ongoing healthcare and life sciences marketing budget
  11. Lead client nurturing campaigns to stay top of mind at existing healthcare and life sciences clients
  12. Partner with leadership on marketing healthcare assets through innovative marketing techniques and programs

Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing/Advertising (or related field of study) required
  2. 10 years of integrated B2B marketing experience, preferably specific to healthcare, life sciences or a professional services environment
  3. Strong writing and editing skills as well as verbal communication skills
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Software
  5. Experience working under tight deadlines and a fast-paced environment
  6. Ability to manage projects from conception through completion
  7. Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
  8. Very organized and ability to manage time, relationships, schedule multiple meetings, and stay on top of multiple communications
  9. Strong analytical skills, ability to solve problems and attention to detail are key
  10. Client-facing experience a plus

Salary Information
Based on pay transparency guidelines, the salary range for this role can vary based on your proximity to one of our West Monroe offices. Individual salaries are determined by evaluating a variety of factors including geography, experience, skills, education, and internal equity.
