Under the direction of the Behavior Health Domain Section Manager, a ITS I serves as the Product Owner for MESMD. They work with discovery, design, and engineering teams to understand user requirements and create a prioritized backlog using tools like Jira. The ITS I communicates requirements, helps break down work, negotiates sprint commitments, cl arifies user stories, and recommends acceptance or rejection of completed work. They also lead Sprint Review ceremonies to evaluate sprint goals.

Working Conditions
DHCS has embraced a hybrid work environment. Regular or recurring telework may occur as part of the incumbent's ongoing regular schedule per DHCS's Telework Policy, in accordance with Government Code Sections 14200-14203.
