Position Description

As a Full-Stack Sitecore Engineer Senior, you will be responsible for developing new functionality for UCare.org in our existing code base and improve the already developed capabilities by writing code adhering to coding best practices. You will play an instrumental role in guiding, mentoring, and leading other team members to build a high-performing development organization.

  1. Build content-driven enterprise-level web applications, implementing user interfaces and back-end functionality for both internal and customer experiences.
  2. Integrate with third-party systems by building web services, providers and designing APIs.
  3. Write clean, well-organized code, following industry standard coding practice (SOLID) and security guidelines (OWASP) that meets Google Page Speed recommendations and WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines.
  4. Support Business Architects in the development and implementation of architecture solutions to meet the business needs.
  5. Create documentation around Sitecore and its related technology processes. This includes, but not limited to, deployments, solution audits, data and content migrations and systems integrations.
  6. Work on complex projects independently in order to keep projects moving. Partner with stakeholders and cross functional team members to ensure deliverables are met. Work with architects, technical leads and/or functional managers, as needed.
  7. Azure support/maintenance pertaining to the Sitecore repository, pipelines, and build processes.
  8. Work in both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies, meeting delivery milestones and quality expectations.
  9. Communicate complex technical solutions to Agile team members and product owners so that dependencies and/or risks can be mitigated with architects, technical leads and/or functional managers.
  10. Write unit tests and perform other quality measures around performance, security, and scalability when required. Assist the QA team with these functions, as needed.
  11. Work with the business team and Business Analysts to understand functional requirements and translate that into technical requirements and assist in estimating work and defining scopes.
  12. Support Sitecore content editors with questions and troubleshooting complex content tickets.
  13. Help maintain current continuous integration and continuous delivery for development, QA, and live websites.
  14. Other projects and duties as assigned.
