Key Responsibilities:
The total annual compensation for this position is $45,000 - $60,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

This position will assist in recruitment processes, maintain employee records, ensure compliance with labor laws, and help foster a positive workplace culture. The HR Assistant will be a key point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the recruitment process by scheduling interviews, coordinating communication with candidates, and performing reference checks.
- Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, conducting background checks, and organizing orientation sessions.
- Maintain and update employee records in HR databases, ensuring information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal labor laws and company policies.
- Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs and enrollment.
- Assist with multi-state payroll processing, ensuring accurate timekeeping and adherence to payroll deadlines.
- Address employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and other HR matters.
- Help organize and coordinate HR-related events such as training sessions, meetings, and employee engagement activities.
- Manage HR-related documentation and correspondence, including letters, memos, and emails.
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including drafting correspondence, managing calendars, and processing mail.
- Process employee requests regarding HR policies, benefits, and compensation, directing inquiries to appropriate staff when necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-3 years of experience in an HR role.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
- Experience with recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Knowledge of payroll systems and employee benefits administration.
