Education, Training and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, advertising, or business or similar field of study; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Experience in retail or business-to-business marketing sales, sales programs, advertising, public relations.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of principles of Marketing to consumers in the retail environment.
  • Organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Self-management skills to effectively manage daily, weekly and monthly schedule with minimal direct supervision.
  • Computer, other peripherals, and software skills associated with the position's requirements.
  • Ability to sell, distribute, market, and promote to potential lottery retailers.
  • Ability to acquire knowledge of all products and promotions, including play styles, prize structures, payout percentages, odds of winning, and special promotions.
  • Ability to work diplomatically, courteously, and professionally with all types of personalities to ensure productive working relationships.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task a variety of projects.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Ability to acquire knowledge of the rules, regulations and policies governing for that state.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with management, staff and Lottery personnel.
  • Ability to assess the effectiveness of programs, interact with and gain the cooperation of other managers and employees, the Lottery and the retailers to maintain effective working relationships.
  • Ability to achieve objectives, adhere to standards.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize work.

Job Responsibilities:

Working with the Corporate Commercial Marketing team at the Concord, NH Intralot office, the position will perform the following duties and responsibilities. Other miscellaneous duties may be assigned.

  • Work closely with the NH Lottery to ensure customer satisfaction and sales growth
    of all NH Lottery products.
  • Oversee corporate marketing strategies are aligned with those strategies for NH Lottery.
  • Analyze sales and other data and report findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • Forecasting requirements; analyzing variances; recommending corrective actions. Develop weekly sales reports comparing YTD sales data and YOY comparisons
  • Use all Intralot reporting software to generate data for special reports and requests.
  • Coordinate sales goals and business needs for maximum sales.
  • Market research, data and input regarding sales, potential promotions, new games, or strategies to increase sales.
  • Working with Intralot product team to create new lottery games that complement the NH Lottery product portfolio and increase sales
  • Attend weekly, monthly meetings with NH Lottery as necessary.
  • Recommend, review, and assist with promotions and sales analysis.
  • Lead and assist in yearly reviews and quarterly marketing presentations.
  • Lead and assist in Retailer Training of terminals to lottery, retailers, and internal staff when appropriate.
  • Understand and support Intralot management policies; interpret and apply rules, policies, standards, and legal decisions to operations of Intralot.
  • Represent Intralot and the Lottery within and outside the organization.
  • Other duties as assigned.
