Job Requirements / Description

This position serves as a liaison from the Joint Staff to the US NAVY with a focus on service level training programs that are accredited and certified through the Joint National Training Capability (JNTC) processes. Knowledge of the joint training process and USN doctrine and training programs is preferred.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide direct, on-site and regional joint training support to all of the JNTC Accredited and/or Certified programs within the USN.
  • Assist in the JNTC Accreditation/Certification/Mitigation (ACM) processes and track mitigation issues identified during ACM processes; specifically by serving as a liaison between the service and the JS as solutions are identified and implemented for mitigating issues.
  • Support development of solutions plan, schedule, and execute actions to mitigate deficiencies within the Fleet Synthetic Training (FST), C2X/JTFEX and Air Wing Fallon (AWF) events.
  • Review joint context capabilities, identify joint training environment recommendations, share lessons learned, collect best practices, capture issues, and identify shortfalls affecting the ability to perform or support joint training within the USN JNTC accredited programs.
  • Provide observations through written weekly reports and as required.
  • Support Joint Staff technical joint capabilities by providing assistance with JTEN support and request submission, connectivity issues, and serve as a liaison for all issues between the Service and Joint Staff.
  • Perform as the DDJ7 field staff providing the joint interface across the joint training enterprise.
