Senior Data Ingestion and Integration Specialist (m/f/d)

The Senior Data Ingestion and Integration Specialist (m/f/d) within the HHDDA Data Acquisition and Activation team will be responsible for supporting data ingestion planning across various therapeutic areas (oncology, vaccines, chronic care, etc.) and across the internal teams within HHDDA. The incumbent will act as the process owner for complex ingestion activities related to the bringing in of new data assets and will report into the US Ingestion and Activation Leader. This role will provide expertise and support in all areas of the data ingestion lifecycle – from idea to implementation – and will be accountable for ensuring key milestones, objectives, and timelines are thought out, communicated, and met.

This is a permanent and full-time role .

Key responsibilities include and are not limited to the following:

  • Supporting all major platforms and markets and responsible for Data Ingestion Plan
  • Performing Data Ingestion Kickoff Meetings for new data assets
  • Work closely with Data Strategy & Governance, HH IT, and Data Domain Owners, as well as other stakeholders across the HHDDA organization to ensure the launch plan is defined, managed, and communicated
  • Working in the data launch playbook, ensure each key objective is met and all documentation, requirements, etc. are properly captured, stored, and shared
  • Understand the US Data Platform landscape and offer guidance and expertise on ingestion processes for those platforms
  • Ensure a proper hand-off of information to the appropriate Data Domain owner once the project has completed

The Senior Data Ingestion and Integration Specialist (m/f/d) is expected to help facilitate communication between multiple business areas and IT project leads. Strong communication skills are required for frequent engagement with our HHDDA partners, Data Acquisition and Activation leadership team, business application owners, IT Personnel, and outside vendors. This position is also responsible for leading the development of and maintaining business-related documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), business cases, and project status logs/updates.

Your profile:

  • BA/BS in Business Administration, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with pharmaceutical data, commercial operations, IT operations, or a related sales and marketing support area
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented, team-driven environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong organizational capabilities and exceptional communication skills
  • Flexible and adaptable to changes in process timing and deliverables, with a proven track record of managing competing priorities
  • Technical working knowledge related to data platforms, database application development, and cloud technologies

Nice to have:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Project or Program Management, ideally in a data or technology-focused role
  • Experience with data lake architectures, cloud-based data solutions
  • Familiarity with Agile Methodology and project management tools
  • Vendor management experience, including negotiating contracts, managing timelines, and ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met
