Business Tax Consultant

At Intuit we are seeking a highly motivated individual with extensive business tax preparation experience to join our team as a Business Tax Consultant. In this role, you will provide expert guidance, tax preparation, and explanations of tax and technical terms to our customers. You will also have the opportunity to shape the direction of one our newest product offerings, TurboTax Live Business. • Strong business tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws
• Minimum of 2 seasons of personal Tax Preparation experience
• Commitment to a minimum schedule of at least 20 hours/week throughout the tax season
• Bookkeeping experience with books to tax preparation is strongly preferred
• Experience preparing Business Tax returns for service industry customers strongly preferred
• Must possess or be able to obtain any related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
• Must possess an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
• Working knowledge of Circular 230
• Proficient with technology; solid knowledge of computer operations and software
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Must have (or be willing to obtain) a dedicated hardwired internet connection that meets Intuit Security criteria and a quiet location in which to work
• Virtual, customer-facing role using video communications software
• Create high quality customer interactions and experiences that instill confidence
• Utilize and leverage government websites, professional resources, and team expertise
• Document customer interactions
• Work continuously toward meeting company key performance metrics and Big Bet Goals
• Participate in pilot testing, projects, and experience validations, as needed
