Ultimate Staffing is currently seeking a Sr. Industrial Engineer to join a client in Grapevine, TX. This is a full-time, direct hire position.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and evaluate existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement innovative process solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
  • Utilize lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements
  • Project Management.
  • Lead and manage engineering projects from conceptualization through to implementation and evaluation.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain to ensure project goals are met.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure adherence to all project requirements.
  • Data Analysis And Reporting.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets to support decision-making processes.
  • Generate detailed reports on process performance, and provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Implement and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and report on operational efficiency.
  • Design And Implementation.
  • Design layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to achieve maximum efficiency.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency in operations.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Continuous Improvement.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all areas of the manufacturing floor.
  • Train and mentor junior engineers and production staff in lean practices and improvement techniques.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the organization.
  • Cost Analysis And Reduction.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses for process changes and new projects.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend strategies for reducing operational costs.
  • Work collaboratively with procurement and finance teams to implement cost-saving measures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial engineering or a related field.
  • Proven track record in process optimization, project management, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in industrial engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Six Sigma tools).
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills.
