Terravita Country Club is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Bartender. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for mixology, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to lead and mentor a team of bartenders.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Craft and serve various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company recipes and customer preferences. Occasionally, serve food to guests.
  • Provide excellent customer service, engage with members and guests, take orders, and handle customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor bar inventory, order supplies, and maintain stock levels. Perform regular checks on stock/par levels and adjust according to business volumes.
  • Supervise and mentor other bartenders, ensuring they adhere to company standards and policies. Provide leadership and training to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the bar area. Ensure all drinks are prepared to the highest quality and consistency.
  • Ensure all operations comply with health and safety regulations and local alcohol laws and regulations.
  • Utilize Point of Sales System, process payments, and complete end-of-shift paperwork as needed.
  • Assists in planning and executing special events and promotions, including themed drink menus and coordinating with other departments.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and update the bar menu regularly. Including creating new drink recipes and seasonal offerings.
  • Build rapport with members and guests and create a welcoming atmosphere encouraging repeat business.
  • Address and resolve any issues that arise during shifts, ensuring a smooth and efficient bar operation. If necessary, communicate issues with the management team.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a bartender (required)
  • Minimum of 2 years in a lead or supervisory role (preferred)
  • In-depth knowledge of various drink recipes, ingredients, and bartending techniques.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and easily handle stressful situations.
  • Knowledge of inventory management.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to bar operations.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, nights, and holidays.
  • Has a reliable form of transportation.
Compensation:
  • $18/hour + service charges
  • Full-time with benefits
