Prophet 21 Contract Consultant (Ad-Hoc Support)

We are seeking experienced Prophet 21 (P21) Contract Consultants to provide ad-hoc support for our client. The ideal candidates will have in-depth knowledge of Prophet 21 core modules, financial modules, or possess technical skills in SQL, customizations, and API integration. As a P21 Consultant, you will be responsible for providing on-demand support for system optimizations, troubleshooting, customizations, and enhancements across various business functions, including sales, inventory, purchasing, and finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide ad-hoc support for Prophet 21 ERP system, addressing issues and requests related to core and financial modules.
- Assist with system troubleshooting, configuration, and optimization in modules such as Sales, Inventory, Purchasing, GL, AP, and AR.
- Develop and implement customizations using Business Rules, Dynachange, and C# to tailor the P21 system to meet business needs.
- Work with SQL Server, perform DBA tasks, and write queries to ensure data integrity and optimize system performance.
- Manage API integrations for seamless data flow between Prophet 21 and other business systems.
- Create and maintain reports using SSRS, Crystal Reports, and Prophet 21 Portals to support business decision-making.
- Provide guidance on Wireless Warehouse functionality and assist with configuration or troubleshooting as needed.
- Offer insight and support for Prophet 21 bolt-ons, including CRM, Sales Automation, Ecommerce, Shipping, and Inventory.
- Collaborate with business users to understand operational requirements and deliver timely solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Prophet 21 Consultant, with expertise in core modules (Sales, Inventory, Purchasing, etc.) and finance modules (GL, AP, AR, etc.).
- Strong SQL Server and DBA skills, with the ability to write queries, manage data, and perform database optimizations.
- Customization experience with Business Rules, Dynachange, and C#.
- Familiarity with Prophet 21 API integration, including designing, implementing, and maintaining integrations.
- Reporting experience with SSRS, Crystal Reports, and P21 Portals.
- Knowledge of Wireless Warehouse functionality and associated processes.
- Experience with P21 bolt-ons, such as CRM, Sales Automation, Ecommerce, Shipping, and Inventory.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide timely and effective ad-hoc support.
- Strong communication skills to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a distribution, wholesale, or manufacturing environment.
- Experience with P21 system upgrades, migrations, or large-scale implementations.
