Job Summary:
The UX Specialist II oversees the process of designing and developing user engagement experiences for a variety of applications. While managing large projects under limited supervision, this job develops and documents functional requirements and translates into detail design documents. As a subject matter expert in user experience, this job works to research and develop design parameters, performance characteristics, and technical specifications of all products and components.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Investigates and interprets how users feel about a system, looking at items like ease of use, perception of the value of the system, utility and efficiency in performing tasks.
- Translates user needs and business requirements into features and functionality for digital experiences.
- pproves process flows, wireframes, and prototypes to effectively conceptualize and communicate high-level design strategies.
- Maintains proficiency in design tools and possesses highly specialized knowledge of a specific technology.
- Recommends management the system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, in order to effectively coordinate the activities of the team.
- Communicates the status of projects to clients and stakeholders.
- Coaches, reviews and delegates work to lower-level professionals.
- dditional Qualifications includes operational aspects necessary to Design Organizations including:
- +5 years of Design Ops/Project and or Program Mgmt, Creative Development experience within Design or Creative teams
- Knowledge management and communications supporting process
- Vendor management and tools provisioning
- Familiar with UX Design tools and comfortable interacting with JIRA, InVision, Figma, Sketch and/or related
- Playbook and process documentation development and governance supporting creative development and operations
- Ease of capability to manage various initiatives, projects aligned to CX journeys
- University (Degree) Preferred
- 5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred
- Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work
