Job Description
The Associate - Ticket and Group Sales will assist the Ticket Sales Department in reaching their goals for the baseball season through sales calls to local businesses and organizations. They will assist in organizing and executing specials events, including but not limited to, birthday parties, Little League program, school family nights, fundraiser program, among others.
Core duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Cold call potential clients (minimum of 50 per day), as well as set up face-to-face meetings
- Assist in the organization and execution of major group events such as school days, scout nights, camp days and little league programs
- Responsible for planning and executing select theme nights to cultivate in game experiences that lead to greater group sales
- Participate in community events such as Chamber functions and networking events to make connections with group business leaders and the Mudcats organization, with the goal to grow our group sales and attendance
- Assist in daily duties of the Group Sales Department, including but not limited to, prospecting categories for new and repeat groups, identifying what companies are a fit within the Mudcats group and premium options and securing the agreements by bringing these groups to Mudcats games
- Assist in sending promotional materials and ticket distribution to all Group Sales accounts
- Assist with corporate sales activities during off-season, including but not limited to, identifying any corporate groups that might be candidates for sponsorship assets as well as group ticketing options
- Assist in other efforts by the Ticket Department, as needed
- Pull tarp on field, as necessary
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds. The employee must be able to run for short periods of time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
Work Hours
Business hours are Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00 pm, however, additional hours will be required on weekends, evenings and some holidays. Must work all home games.
