Successful candidates will have previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm in NYC, experience performing Mechanical HVAC Systems Design using AutoCAD or Revit. The ideal candidate will have experience in Energy Efficiency, Decarbonization, and District Energy Systems Projects.

We are seeking a Sr Mechanical Engineer to Join our Team in NYC. This person will be a key member of our Engineering Team and will work closely with our offices in the NYC metropolitan area. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred
- 8-10 years of relevant experience
- Professional Engineer, P.E. license in NYC Desired, or ability to gain reciprocity.
- Experience in HVAC and Hydronic System Design
- Proficient in Revit & AutoCAD Software
- Energy Efficiency, Decarbonization, Geothermal design experience Preferred but Not required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Lead Design of Building HVAC Systems and District Energy Systems
- Interact directly with clients by completing analysis of design options, cost benefit comparisons, and communicating results to assist in decision making process.
- Field investigations to document existing conditions
- Selection and calculations for design purposes
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and utility requirements
- Mentor Engineers to develop and review project drawings and documentation
