We are looking for a tenacious, results-focused Account Manager to develop sales strategies, identify potential customers, and enhance and maintain relationships with existing customers in our non-hazardous Special waste and waste-to-energy initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing Company revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects, and managing sales in the Southern California (LA, Orange, Riverside and San Bernadino counties) region.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage a well-developed pipeline of potential customers at amounts to exceed revenue goals.
  • Identify viable leads, manage prospects, and acquire new, profitable customers to meet and exceed established targeted revenue goals.
  • Build long-term relationships with contractors, prospective and existing clients in designated market
  • Help customers select services based on their needs, specifications, and regulations.
  • Emphasize company features based on analyses of customers' needs and technical knowledge of company capabilities and limitations.
  • Answer customers' questions about prices, timelines, and logistics
  • Negotiate prices and terms of sale and service agreements.
  • Prepare sales contracts and submit orders for processing.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information, such as selling strategies and marketing information.
  • Follow up with customers to make sure they are satisfied with their services and to answer any questions or concerns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
  • Minimum 5 – 10 years sales experience within industrial field, special waste/industrial waste
  • Minimum of 1 year managing, selling to, and retaining large customer accounts.
  • Knowledge of Environmental regulations, regulation codes, different types of industrial waste pertinent to the region
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Contact Relationship Management software (CRM)
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Decision-making, problem resolution, and creative thinking skills
  • Responsible, and professional team player
  • Ability to work remotely and able to travel within the region
