Essential Duties and Responsibilities: As Director of Operations, you'll be at the heart of our mission, orchestrating complex energy efficiency projects from inception to completion. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in a growing company, working directly with clients to shape a more sustainable future.
- Project Leadership: Lead the charge on energy services projects, managing all phases from procurement to performance evaluation. Your expertise will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and exceed client expectations.
- Strategic Program Management: Develop and implement comprehensive program management plans that align with our clients' sustainability goals. You'll be the architect of our operational success, establishing clear communication channels and implementing robust project controls.
- Risk Management and Compliance: Navigate the complex landscape of federal, state, and local regulations, identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to ensure project success and compliance.
- Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Be the face of 2KB, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders. You'll facilitate training sessions, lead workshops, and represent 2KB in client presentations and public forums.
- Business Development: Leverage your industry knowledge and relationships to drive growth. You'll support the sales team as they identify new opportunities, manage client accounts, and collaborate with our industry partners.
What You’ll Bring: The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Energy Management, Environmental Science, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in project management, energy efficiency project development, or related fields
- A proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Strong understanding of energy performance contracting and compliance requirements
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
- Passion for sustainability and a drive to make a tangible impact on energy efficiency
