Backend .Net Developer (.Net Core/Microservices)

Location: Fremont, CA

Duration: 12 Months + Extension

Hourly Rate: Depending on Experience (DOE)

Work Authorization:

Responsibilities:

  1. Full stack development of the client's core website
  2. Design, development and implementation of web applications using C# on the backend, .NET Core, .Net Frameworks and SQL technology stack
  3. Design and develop robust scalable high performing high-volume web applications with users across the globe
  4. Work closely with application developers, business analysts, business stakeholders and QA teams

General skills (must have):

  1. C#.Net: 6 years of experience
  2. SDLC: 6 years of experience
  3. Docker/Kubernetes: 2 years of experience
  4. MySQL/SQL Server: 2 years of experience
  5. .Net Core: 2 years of experience
  6. Microservices: 2 years of experience

Experience required:

  1. 6-8 years of solid experience with development of web applications
  2. 6+ years of solid programming experience with .Net Core, C# on the backend
  3. Experience in MySQL is required and good knowledge in query optimization and data analysis is desired
  4. Experience with Micro Service Architecture
  5. Expert knowledge of Web Services, REST, JQuery, SOAP and JSON is required
  6. Exposure to Python, PHP, Java and other open source technologies is a plus
  7. Good Unit Testing and Integration Testing practices
  8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  9. Ability to work in high pressure situations
  10. Ability to multi-task and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
  11. Prior experience on home grown enterprise level applications is preferable
  12. Agile/SCRUM Software Development Process experience is a plus
