What You’ll Do:

It’s a very exciting time at Backroads as we are going through a digital transformation. As one of the Project Managers, you will lead the initiation and planning of a project and ensure technical feasibility. You will ensure that all projects are delivered on time within the stipulated scope and budget. You will define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. You will be responsible for developing a detailed plan to monitor and track the progress of the project, while ensuring resource availability and allocation. It will be essential for you to coordinate with internal and external parties for the flawless execution of projects while also managing relationships between clients and stakeholders. You will perform risk management analysis to reduce project risks, and report and escalate to upper management as and when needed. In this role, it will be your responsibility to measure project performance using appropriate project management tools, create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, and deftly manage software development projects and facilitate sprint releases.

You are known for being a team player with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. You have strong problem solving and critical thinking skills and an ability to work well independently, set goals, be versatile and demonstrate initiative when needed.

What You’ll Need:

  1. Possess a high-level understanding of the software development life cycle
  2. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
  3. Proven experience as a Project Manager for IT implementations and software development
  4. Experience managing changes to project scope, schedule, and requirements, assessing impacts and obtaining necessary approvals
  5. Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion
  6. Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies
  7. Project budget management experience

Salary Ranges:

$95,000.00 - $140,000.00
