Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales management and some experience working in the wine industry. This role requires excellent leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to motivate a team to excel in a competitive market.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company objectives.
  2. Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to enhance performance and productivity.
  3. Conduct lead generation activities to identify new business opportunities.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through exceptional customer service.
  5. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform sales tactics.
  6. Negotiate contracts and close deals with prospective clients.
  7. Oversee inside sales operations, ensuring efficient processes and high conversion rates.
  8. Utilize Salesforce for tracking sales activities, managing customer interactions, and reporting on performance metrics.
  9. Conduct regular training sessions for the sales team to improve skills in cold calling and lead generation.

Skills

  1. Strong background in sales management with demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding targets.
  2. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
  3. Experience in analyzing data to inform strategic decisions.
  4. Proven ability in lead generation techniques and inside sales methodologies.
  5. Exceptional customer service skills, ensuring client satisfaction at all levels.
  6. Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems for managing customer relationships and sales pipelines.
