Job Overview

Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal Injury Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of personal injury law and demonstrate exceptional organizational skills. This role is crucial in supporting attorneys with case management, legal research, and drafting documents, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service.


Responsibilities

- Assist attorneys in the preparation and management of personal injury cases from inception to resolution.

- Conduct legal research and gather relevant case law to support ongoing litigation.

- Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and correspondence.

- Maintain organized case files and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

- Interview clients, witnesses, and experts to gather necessary information for cases.

- Perform data entry tasks related to case management systems.

- Proofread legal documents for accuracy and compliance with court requirements.

- Provide executive administrative support as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing calendars.

- Collaborate with team members on project management tasks to ensure timely completion of case milestones.


Requirements

- Proven experience as a paralegal or in a similar role within a law office environment.

- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

- Proficiency in legal drafting and administrative functions related to personal injury law.

- Excellent interviewing skills to extract pertinent information from clients and witnesses.

- Detail-oriented with strong proofreading abilities to ensure high-quality documentation.

- Familiarity with environmental law is a plus but not required.

- Proficient in data entry and maintaining accurate records within case management systems.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
